Spring 2010 On-Campus Housing Waiting List Information for Non-Current Residents and Students Admitted at Mid-Year

Thank you for your interest in on-campus living at URI! Those students applying to live on-campus for spring semester 2010 who are not currently residing on-campus and/or who are accepted to URI at mid-year will be assigned to residence halls, suites, and apartments on a space availability basis. Although every effort will be made to assign wait listed students for spring semester, we wish to remind all such students that placement on the housing wait list does not guarantee an on-campus housing assignment for spring semester.

 

All students seeking spring semester 2010 on-campus housing who are admitted to URI at mid-year and/or who are not current on-campus residents must submit a request for placement on the housing wait list beginning November 2, 2009 at 8:30 am eastern time. Please be advised that wait list applications received prior to this date and time will not be considered.

Starting November 2 at 8:30am (eastern), please send wait list requests to urihousingspring2010@gmail.com with the following included personal information:

  1. Student name
  2. Student ID
  3. Expected year of graduation
  4. Best contact phone number(s)
  5. Student status (example: freshman, transfer, currently living off campus or in Greek housing)

The Department of Housing and Residential Life will make every effort to contact students concerning the status of their spring semester wait listed housing applications beginning early December. Also, non-current residents and students admitted at mid-year may wish to explore other available housing options at Other Housing Options.
