Please read the following important information about the Renewal & Transfer Application Process.

  • Application Deadline:  (to be determined)
     
  • Academic Requirements:  You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 to continue employment in the RA position.
     
  • Student Conduct Requirements:  You may not apply for the RA Position if you are on Residence Hall or Disciplinary Probation at any time during the application period.
     
  • Procedure:  You must return this copy of the URI Resident Assistant Renewal & Transfer Application to your Hall Director if you are interested in employment.  
     
  • Interviews:  If you are applying for a building transfer, the Residence Hall(s) to which you have applied will contact you if they wish to interview you.
     
  • Offers of Employment: Job offers will be made at a time to be determined.
     
  • RA Training:  Please note that all new & Returning RA hires for Fall Semester must attend one or two all-day training sessions, held during weekends in March and/or April (dates TBA).  Also, RA’s must attend two weeks of training that takes place immediately prior to the September opening of the residence halls.
